Multiple sources say Minaj has yet to sign off on the deal, but is expected to be in the judges seat when Season 12 premieres this winter. Other judges reportedly up for consideration are singer Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams, a singer and producer who has worked with the likes of Snoop Lion (formerly Snoop Dogg).Long-time judge Randy Jackson will assume the role of a mentor this season.
